• 🧱 Ages 5–6 → 9:30 AM
• 🧱 Ages 7–8 → 11:00 AM
• 🧱 Ages 9–10 → 1:00 PM

ADK Studios Kids Club — Brick Building Speed Contest — Official Rules

Entry

• Entry fee: $25 per child
• Each age group runs as its own separate contest with its own prize pool
• Age groups: 5–6, 7–8, 9–10, 11–12
• All kids in an age group build the same brick set

Format

• All kids in an age group build simultaneously
• A time limit is set per age group (based on typical build difficulty for that age)
• When time is called, all building stops immediately — "STOP"
• Judges then count the number of pieces remaining unplaced on each kid's build
• The child with the fewest pieces remaining (i.e., most complete build) wins
• Tiebreaker: If two or more kids have the same number of pieces remaining, judges will assess build accuracy (correct placement per the reference/finished set) to determine the winner, not just piece count

Prizes (per age group, based on 10 entrants at $25 each = $250 pool)

• 1st Place: $150 cash prize + trophy
• Trophy cost: $50 (covered by pool)
• Remaining $50 goes toward event refreshments (pizza & soda) for all participating families
• 100% of entry fees are returned to the event — no portion is retained as profit

Minimum Entrants

• Each age group requires a minimum of 10 entrants to run as its own contest
• If an age group has fewer than 10 entrants, it will be combined with the nearest age bracket to reach the minimum

Requirements

• All participants must be within the stated age range for their bracket at the time of the event

Event Extras

• A large screen will loop tie-dye workshop promo videos throughout the event
• Refreshments (pizza & soda) provided for all attending families
